Our candles and wax melts are made with 100% all natural soy wax made in the USA, phthalate-free fragrances, and all cotton wicks/wooden crackling wicks.

All of our products are all hand-poured and hand made in small batches to ensure quality products.

About Rock Goddess Candles

Rock Goddess Candles is owned and operated by Jennie, or as some call her "the perfect candle mixologist," which is high praise for a candle maker! Jennie has been making candles since 2017. Starting out as just a hobby to help deal with anxiety, it has now become a business she is extremely proud of. Perfecting her craft is something she takes great pride in, and is very confident you will love your products as much as she has loved making them. She's always planning ahead, season to season to create the perfect candle, wax melt, room spray and more just for you.

When she's not creating the products that you love, she loves to spend time with family, going to concerts, baking (also perfecting her sourdough recipes), and does a weekly rock and metal radio show (hence the title "Rock Goddess.").

Why Soy Wax?

  • Our soy wax is made from soybeans grown right here in the US by American farmers. Most commercial candles are made from paraffin wax which is derived from petroleum, which is a refined gasoline product.
  • Soy Wax is a natural and renewable resource.
  • Soy wax is biodegradable and it cleans up very easily with warm soap and water.
  • Soy wax has a lower melting point than paraffin wax. So, because of this, our soy candles will burn slower and/or longer than paraffin candles. Studies show that soy candles do burn 40% slower than paraffin.
  • Paraffin candles burn with petro-soot. What is petro-soot? Petro-soot is what results from burning a paraffin candle because paraffin is a by-product of petroleum.
  • Soy wax burns with ZERO petro soot! This means we make petro soot-free candles! In other words, you won't be inhaling the stuff that makes your car run.
  • Choose a happier, healthier, greener life by choosing soy candles over paraffin candles.
  • There is little-to-no soot in soy wax candles. With paraffin, you'll see candles with black rings around the top or soot on the wall due to petro-soot. If you do see this with a soy wax candles, it would only be a result of an untrimmed wick, but not petro-soot.
